The Western Australia Margaret River Pro returns from 17 to 27 April 2026, bringing the world’s best surfers to the powerful breaks of Surfers Point.

As one of only three Australian stops on the World Surf League Championship Tour, the Margaret River Pro continues to play a defining role in the global title race. The 2026 season marks 50 years of professional surfing, with Margaret River once again serving as one of the sport’s most unpredictable and exhilarating stages.

Across ten days of competition, elite surfers will take on Main Break and The Box, two of the most respected waves on tour. Spectators can watch the action live and free at Surfers Point, where the atmosphere feels part sporting arena, part coastal festival. Big screens stream every heat, commentary fills the air, and food trucks and merchandise stands add to the event hub’s vibrant energy. Between sessions, fans can meet their favourite athletes as competitors often stop to connect with young surfers and spectators along the walkway.
