Karnidale Circus Festival returns for its 19th year in January 2027, transforming Karridale into a world of big-top magic in the heart of the Margaret River Region.
This year’s line-up is the festival’s most international yet, with artists arriving from Spain, France, Ukraine, Belgium, Canada and beyond. They join Australian favourites including Gravity & Other Myths, YUCK Circus and the Splash Test Dummies for a weekend of circus, cabaret, live music and late-night energy.
About Karnidale Circus Festival
Held in Karridale, Karnidale brings together circus shows, workshops, the legendary Circus Olympics, live bands, local food and performances across Lunar Circus’ multiple big top venues.
The 2027 festival will also feature The Edith, a striking new spiegeltent adding another performance space to the programme. By day, the festival leans into circus shows, family-friendly workshops and live entertainment. By night, the programme shifts into DJs, cabaret and headline performances, including Head First Acrobats’ outrageous hit GODZ and the Late Night Cabaret.
It is one of the Margaret River Region’s more distinctive summer events, bringing together international talent, Australian performers and a festival atmosphere that feels completely its own.

Karridale is approximately one hour south of Pullman Bunker Bay Resort by car, depending on traffic and festival-day conditions. The most direct route is generally via Caves Road and Bussell Highway.
