Cape to Cape MTB 2026
Thursday 15 October - Sunday 18 October 2026
Cape to Cape MTB returns to the Margaret River Region for four days of mountain bike riding, South West scenery and post-stage hospitality.
The course is built for riders looking to take on some of the region’s best trails, rolling out from iconic destinations before finishing each stage with local food, drinks and event village atmosphere.
In 2026, riders can expect another course shaped by the Cape to Cape team, with trails selected across the South West Region. The event includes a mix of fast-flowing single trail, farm tracks, groomed downhill trails and fire trails, with access to private land and routes that can only be ridden as part of the race.
The trails do not require a high level of technical ability, and comprehensive trail marking means navigation skills are not required. Riders are supported throughout the event with multiple check-ins and water points, while each day finishes at the event village with local hospitality on offer. The final day will start and finish at Wise Winery.
For those who cannot commit to all four days, Cape to Cape Mini offers single-day access to the event, giving riders the option to choose one day of racing and still be part of the Cape to Cape experience.
