Six Seasons Garden Exploration Experience at Pullman Resort

For a truly unique spring wildflower experience in the Margaret River Region, look no further than Pullman Bunker Bay's 'Six Seasons of Bunker Bay' Garden Exploration Experience.

This guided tour through 35 acres of beautifully landscaped native gardens has been created to celebrate the traditional landowners who pass their knowledge on to guests and visitors to the Margaret River Region during the garden walk.

Experience Six Seasons at Pullman Bunker Bay Resort

Guests of Pullman Bunker Bay Resort, in Margaret River WA, are invited to kick off wildflower season at the resort’s beautiful native gardens with the Six Seasons of Bunker Bay Garden Exploration Experience - a small group garden walk, guided by a local Indigenous Elder.

Suitable for all ages, during the Six Seasons of Bunker Bay Garden Exploration Experience guests learn about the culture and language of the local Wardandi people who have thrived in the south west of Western Australia for over 45,000 years.

As the traditional owners, the Wardandi are custodians of the Margaret River Region and possess an intimate knowledge of the land. The tour is called ‘Six Seasons’ because the Wardandi people recognise six distinct seasons of the year, each lasting around two months.

The garden has been designed to showcase a stunning array of plant species native to the region. It has been created by the hotel in collaboration with members of the local Indigenous community, Busselton Men’s Shed and the local Geographe Community Landcare Nursery.

Guests can also choose to extend their walk to include a self-guided tour of the Cape to Cape track where many more plant species can be found. The Margaret River Region is home to over 2,500 species of wildflowers that make for a truly stunning sight when in full bloom.

Guests can also purchase a book which provides more information about the plants in the garden for $8, with $3 from the sale of each book donated to the AccorHotels Community Fund. AccorHotels Community Fund is committed to building healthy families by working with selected partner charities.

For more information about the Six Seasons of Bunker Bay Garden Exploration Experience, or to book a tour, please call 61 8 9756 9100 or email us. The guided walks are complimentary for those staying at Pullman Resort, however guests are advised to book in advance to avoid disappointment.

For local residents and visitors not staying at the resort, the experience is available when pre-booking for groups of 8 or more with a garden book purchase ($8 per person).
