Whale Watching Season Arrives Early + Special Offer for Pullman Guests

August has seen an early return of the humpback whales as they follow their migration pattern up the coast of Western Australia and they are truly a magnificent sight to see. Even better, WhaleWatch tours have a special offer exclusive for Pullman Bunker Bay Resort guests who can enjoy 10% off whale watching tours departing Augusta or Busselton this August. What better reason to experience the thrill of seeing these ocean giants up close and personal in the pristine waters of the South West coastline. Ask our friendly team for more information when you check in, or call us on 61 8 9756 9100 to arrange your whale watching tour.

You can also visit our page on whale watching season for more information.

August Wines of the Month - Swings & Roundabouts

World class winery Swings & Roundabouts will be showcasing their outstanding 2014 Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon and Cabernet Merlot with complimentary in-house wine tastings on 6 and 20 August. The tastings with canapes will commence at 5pm on both dates, hosted by winemaker Amanda Keady who will be on hand to explain how the wines are crafted until 6.30pm. No reservations needed.

Bronwen Newbury - Free Margaret River Art Exhibition

Bronwen Newbury's paintings - often colourful, sometimes whimsical, always evocative - reflect not only scenes from her life on a vineyard near the vibrant coastal hub of Albany, but the many other places, people, scenery and dogs she has known, or hopes to know one day. From 3 to 30 August visitors to the Margaret River Region as well as in-house resort guests are invited to experience a free art exhibition of Bronwen's works on display in the resort's bar and reception areas. New Menu & New Faces at Other Side of the Moon Restaurant

Executive Chef Damon Georgiou will be rolling out seasonal changes for the Other Side of the Moon Restaurant menu during August, with frequently changing chef specials allowing visitors and resort guests to taste the new offerings while we familarise our staff with the changes. It's also an exciting time for the restaurant with Rebecca Murphy joining the team as Food & Beverage Operations Manager after many years as the resort's Conference & Events Manager. Rebecca will be working on enhancing our service standards within the Restaurant and Bar, so be sure to say hello and pass on any feedback you may have during your stay. And don't forget to leave a review your new menu experience on FacebookZomato or TripAdvisor - we'd love to hear from you!
